Regular Season Round 30: Perlas - Telsiai 95-69

An interesting game took place in Vilnius where 7th ranked Telsiai (15-15) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Perlas (13-16) 95-69. Perlas forced 22 Telsiai turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Center Marek Blazevic (207-1) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Lukas Kvedaravicius (206-97) supported him with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Perlas players scored in double figures. Coach Arvydas Gronskis's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 15 points and 9 rebounds by forward Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-91) did not help to save the game for Telsiai. Guard Laurynas Kaveckis (190-90) added 16 points and 6 rebounds. Perlas have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. Telsiai at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 15 games lost. Perlas will play against league's leader Vytis in Sakiai in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Telsiai will play on the road against Zalgiris II (#5) in Kaunas and hopes to get back on the winning track.
