Sixth ranked Telekom Baskets (12-6) crushed at home 9th ranked Brose Baskets (10-7) by 37 points 106-69, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. Telekom Baskets shot 63.2 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. Croatian power forward Tomislav Zubcic (208-90) fired 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. American power forward Julian Gamble (208-89, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 17 points. Four Telekom Baskets players scored in double figures. American Augustine Rubit (201-89, college: S.Alabama) produced 16 points and the other American import forward Dorell Wright (206-85) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Telekom Baskets. They moved-up to fifth place. Defending champion Brose Baskets keep the ninth position with seven games lost.
