It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Darussafaka. They outrebounded Darussafaka 48-34 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Raymar Morgan (203-88, college: Michigan St.) fired 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The other American import Tony Crocker (200-87, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Nigerian center Micheal Eric (210-88, college: Temple) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and American power forward JaJuan Johnson (208-89, college: Purdue) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Darussafaka's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tofas used an opportunity after Fenerbahce lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Darussafaka at the other side keeps the eighth place with seven games lost. Tofas will meet at home Usak Sportlif (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Darussafaka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Galatasaray.
