Rather expected game when 16th ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (4-15) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Braunschweig (8-11) 82-68 on Sunday. American power forward Scott Eatherton (203-91, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. His fellow American import guard DeAndre Lansdowne (187-89, college: Fort Lewis) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Braunschweig players scored in double figures. Braunschweig's coach Frank Menz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Belgian-Nigerian guard Retin Obasohan (185-93, college: Alabama) produced 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals (made all of his seven free throws) and Serbian Sava Lesic (205-88, agency: BeoBasket) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side.
