Regular Season Round 15: Lemvig - Virum 64-84

The game in Lemvig supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Virum (11-4) played at the court of 5th ranked Lemvig (2-14). Virum did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 84-64. The game was mostly controlled by Virum. Lemvig was better in fourth quarter 26-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lemvig 38-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American forward Valerie Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Her fellow American import guard Caitlin Ingle (172-95, college: Drake, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Bulgarian forward Mariya-Magdalena Kolyandrova (166-97) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Lisa Murphy (185-94, college: Carnegie Mellon) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Lemvig. Virum have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 11-4 record having four points less than leader Horsholm. Lemvig at the other side keeps the fifth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Vaerlose. Virum will play against Stevnsgade (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lemvig will play against SISU and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
