Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Recklinghausen (4-12) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (7-7) 61-50 on Saturday. Rotenburg/Scheessel forced 20 Recklinghausen turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Cassidy Clark (186, college: Truman St.) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Pia Mankertz (170-90) who added 10 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Britta Worms (188-88) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jule Kassack (168) scored 16 points. Rotenburg/Scheessel moved-up to fifth place in North. Newly promoted Recklinghausen dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Rotenburg/Scheessel will face league's second-placed TG Neuss on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
