The game in Moletai supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (21-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Ezerunas (15-16). Neptunas-Akv. smashed Ezerunas 81-53 on Saturday. Neptunas-Akv. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Ezerunas' players. The winners were led by the former international forward Valdas Vasylius (203-83, college: ODU) who scored that evening 24 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and point guard Deividas Anuzis (182-92) supported him with 13 points and 5 assists. Even 19 points by Laurynas Kirlys (191-93) did not help to save the game for Ezerunas. Center Ignas Lukosius (202-93) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Neptunas-Akv. moved-up to third place, which they share with Silute. Loser Ezerunas keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. Neptunas-Akv. will meet Silute (#4) on the road in the next round. Ezerunas will play against Palanga (#14) and hope to secure a win.
