Regular Season Round 19: Plama Pur - LTH Castings 67-60

Very important is a road loss of third ranked LTH Castings (11-7) against sixth ranked Plama Pur (9-9) on Saturday night. Visiting LTH Castings were defeated by Plama Pur in a tough game in Ilirska Bistrica 60-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of LTH Castings. LTH Castings were ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 37-29 second half run of Plama Pur. They outrebounded LTH Castings 40-23 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds. Power forward Robi Hrescak (203-92) helped adding 10 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side guard Jan Strmcnik (187-98) responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Matevz Mlakar (203-99) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Plama Pur maintains sixth place with 9-9 record. LTH Castings at the other side keep the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Parklji. Plama Pur will play against Konjice (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. LTH Castings will play against Medvode (#10) and hope to get back on the winning track.
