The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Dorsten's (5-15) home victory over 12th ranked Bonn II (3-17) 87-73 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American forward Salathiel Ligons (201-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Rene Penders (190-88) helped adding 20 points. Four Dorsten players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Karl Dia (194-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and American power forward KJ Sherrill (203-91, college: Augusta) scored 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Bonn II's coach Savo Milovic tested ten players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Dorsten moved-up to tenth place in West, which they share with Hagen-Haspe. Loser Bonn II dropped to the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
