Regular Season Round 16: Sencur Gor. - Rogaska 79-64

There was a small surprise in Kranj where seventh ranked Sencur Gor. (8-8) beat 4th ranked Rogaska (9-7) 79-64 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 15 points. Sencur Gor. outrebounded Rogaska 39-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Dino Muric (200-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds and Bosnian forward Ramo Rizvic (200-87) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Sencur Gor. players scored in double figures. Sencur Gor.'s coach Radomir Mijanovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Rashun Davis (180-93, college: Radford) responded with 16 points and Bosnian Dragan Djuranovic (203-88, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Sencur Gor. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Krka. Loser Rogaska dropped to the third position with seven games lost. Sencur Gor. will face league's second-placed Helios in Domzale in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rogaska will play at home against Olimpija and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
