Important game to mention about took place in Vidin. Vidabasket (1-1) saved a 2-point victory at home edging Balkan 2 (1-2) 66-64 in the fight for the third place. Vidabasket forced 19 Balkan 2 turnovers. It was a good game for guard Teodor Nikolov (194-95) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Kaloyan Petrov (182-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Aleksandar Iliev (196-96) answered with 17 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Martin Georgiev (185-97) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Balkan 2. Four Balkan 2 players scored in double figures. Vidabasket will play against Rilski 2 (#6) in Samokov in the next round. Balkan 2 will play at home against CSKA to get more than just one victory in their record.
