Regular Season Round 19: Treuchtlingen - TSV Troester 105-101

Rather expected game in Treutchlingen where 5th ranked TSV Troester (12-5) was defeated by third ranked Treuchtlingen (14-3) 105-101 on Sunday. At the losing side center Erik Land (205-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Alexander Engel (191-93) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Five Treuchtlingen and four TSV Troester players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Treuchtlingen. They keep a position of South-East leader, which they share with Gotha II and Oberhaching. Loser TSV Troester keeps the fifth place with five games lost. Treuchtlingen will face Muenchen OSB (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
