Regular Season Round 15: SISU - Horsholm 55-65

An exciting game was played in Copenhagen. First ranked Horsholm faced 4th placed SISU. Guests from Horsholm (14-2) defeated host SISU (7-8) 65-55. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 38-22 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Maryah Sydnor (185-93, college: Appalachian St.) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Forward Gritt Ryder (173-92, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Horsholm's coach Jesper Krone Rasmussen used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Hannah Schaible (175-94, college: G.Washington) who recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Horsholm maintains first place with 14-2 record. SISU lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Horsholm will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU will play on the road against Lemvig (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
