Regular Season Round 20: LTH Castings - Medvode 71-79

The most important game in the last round took place in Skofja Loka between third ranked LTH Castings (11-8) and tenth ranked Medvode (7-12) on Wednesday night. LTH Castings were defeated by Medvode in a tough game at home 71-79. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But LTH Castings won third quarter 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Medvode won last quarter 23-17. They also forced 20 LTH Castings turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Dejan Buncic (177-77) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Lovro Fizuleto (199-92) who added 19 points during the contest. Forward Jan Dornik (195-98) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and center Rade Lisica (206-97) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five LTH Castings players scored in double figures. Medvode moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Triglav. LTH Castings at the other side dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. Medvode is looking forward to face higher ranked Parklji (#3) in Bezigrad in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. LTH Castings will play on the road against Konjice and are hoping to win this game.
