TBL top team - Turk Telekom (20-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Duzce Belediye (9-12) in Ankara 114-72. Turk Telekom shot 61.2 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Duzce Belediye's players. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Ender Arslan (190-83) who scored 23 points and 7 assists. The former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) chipped in 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and forward Tamer Erden (190-96) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Turk Telekom have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-1 record. Duzce Belediye lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Turk Telekom will meet bottom-ranked Yalova Bld (#18) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Duzce Belediye will play against TED Kolejliler (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
