Very important is a road loss of second ranked Treuchtlingen (14-4) against sixth ranked Muenchen OSB (10-8) on Saturday night. Visiting Treuchtlingen was defeated by Muenchen OSB in Muenchen 92-81. Even 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by guard Tim Eisenberger (197-91) did not help to save the game for Treuchtlingen. Forward Stefan Schmoll (196-89) added 23 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Treuchtlingen's coach Stephen Harlander tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Muenchen OSB have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Muenchen OSB maintains sixth position in South-East with 10-8 record. Treuchtlingen at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. Muenchen OSB's next round opponent will be higher ranked Vilsbiburg (#4) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Treuchtlingen will play against Rosenheim and hope to win that game.
