Regular Season Round 21: Portoroz - Triglav 71-75

We should mention about the upset which took place in Portoroz, where 6th ranked Portoroz (9-10) lost at home to ninth ranked Triglav (8-12) 71-75 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Portoroz. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 40-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was forward Matija Vravnik (198-92) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Aleksander Vojicic (192-87) chipped in 22 points. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Adin Kavgic (195-87) who recorded 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Alen Katonar (200-92) added 15 points respectively. Triglav moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Grosuplje and Medvode. Loser Portoroz keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Triglav will face league's second-placed Sezana at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
