Rather expected game when Academica (8-9) lost to Dragon Force (10-7) in Coimbra 61-67 on Sunday. Dragon Force shot 67.4 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for Vladyslav Voytso (200-99) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Henrique Barros (193-99) contributed with 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Dragon Force's coach Joao Perdo Goncalves used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American forward Lawrence Coleman (190-94, college: Oneonta St.) answered with 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and swingman Francisco Santiago (-94) added 10 points and 5 assists in the effort for Academica. Dragon Force's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Porto Vasco.
