Regular Season Round 18: KOS - Mustangs 72-100

The game in Klagenfurt supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Mustangs (14-5) played at the court of 8th ranked KOS (7-10). Mustangs smashed KOS 100-72. The game was mostly controlled by Mustangs. KOS was better in fourth quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. The best player for the winners was Czech forward Vladimir Sismilich (202-85) who scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Czech guard Michal Semerad (190-89) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian point guard Jan Razdevsek (185-0) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and forward Marin Sliskovic (201-95) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KOS's coach Dragan Sliskovic already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Mustangs have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. KOS at the other side keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Mustangs' next round opponent will be Basket 2K (#11) in Vienna and are hoping to win another game. KOS will play on the road against Blackbirds in Jennersdorf and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
