Regular Season Round 18: KK Primorska - Krka 82-72

Liga Nova KBM top team - KK Primorska (13-5) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat fifth ranked Krka (9-9) in Koper 82-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Krka. The game was mostly controlled by KK Primorska. Krka managed to win third quarter 30-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Krka 45-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. The former international point guard Matic Rebec (183-95) notched 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 4 points and 16 rebounds. Four KK Primorska players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 8 rebounds by center Ziga Fifolt (210-93) did not help to save the game for Krka. Matic Siska (183-98) added 13 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KK Primorska maintains first position with 13-5 record. Loser Krka dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Ilirija.
