Everything went according to plan in Tuebingen where sixteenth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (5-16) beat bottom-ranked Walter Tigers (1-21) 87-75. It was a great shooting night for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Carl Baptiste (208-90, college: Delaware) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds. Canadian guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (188-92, agency: Two Points) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's coach Arne Woltmann allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Reggie Upshaw (203-95, college: Middle Tenn.St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import Barry Stewart (193-88, college: Mississippi St.) added 25 points in the effort for Walter Tigers. Four Walter Tigers players scored in double figures. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven moved-up to fifteenth place. Walter Tigers lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games.
