Regular Season Round 18: Wolfpack/BMS - Svendborg 50-83

The game in Skovlunde supposed to be also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Svendborg (6-11) played at the court of 7th ranked BMS Skovlunde (3-15). Svendborg smashed BMS Skovlunde 83-50. It looked good early as BMS Skovlunde took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Svendborg had a 22-8 second period charge getting the lead and BMS Skovlunde was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 50-83. Svendborg players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by BMS Skovlunde's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Demonte Flannigan (201-95, college: Cleveland St.) who scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Guard Mads Rasmussen (198-88) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Svendborg players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and guard Anders Hansen (189-94, college: Niagara) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Svendborg maintains sixth position with 6-11 record. BMS Skovlunde lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh place with 15 games lost. Svendborg's next round opponent will be higher ranked Naestved (#3) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
