Regular Season Round 18: Osnabruecker TB - B.Loewen 71-57

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Osnabruecker (8-9) beat at home 10th ranked B.Loewen (4-12) 71-57 on Saturday. They outrebounded B.Loewen 44-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American guard N'Dea Bryant (183-94, college: N.Carolina) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import forward Xylina McDaniel (188, college: N.Carolina) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Center Viktoria Jaeger (184) replied with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Anne Storck (180-88) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for B.Loewen. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Osnabruecker maintains sixth position in North with 8-9 record. Loser B.Loewen keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Osnabruecker will face SG BBZ Opladen (#8) in Leverkusen in the next round. B.Loewen will play at home against Braunschweig and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
