Regular Season Round 22: Triglav - Sezana 52-80

The game in Kranj supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Sezana (16-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Triglav (9-13). Sezana smashed Triglav 80-52. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Triglav. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Sezana's pressure prevailed and they won that period 27-4 extending their advantage to 28 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Triglav to just 4 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Triglav 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Triglav helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Dejan Milasinovic (182-89) fired 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Shaquille Duncan (206-92, college: Concordia, AL) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Sezana players scored in double figures. Guard Jan Bester (177-96) produced 8 points and 7 assists and guard Rok Jakobcic (199-91) added 14 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sezana maintains second position with 16-5 record having four points less than leader Terme Olimia. Triglav at the other side keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost.
