Top-ranked NSA blasted bottom-ranked Septemvri 97 (0-5) in Sofia 97-49 on Saturday evening keeping the perfect record after 6 rounds. Septemvri 97 is still unable to win any game. The game without a history. NSA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Septemvri 97 to just 6 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. NSA dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Septemvri 97's 38. NSA forced 26 Septemvri 97 turnovers and outrebounded them 40-27 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international guard Zornitsa Naydenova (170-89) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Petya Serafimova (178-95) chipped in 29 points during the contest. Four NSA players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Violeta Grigorova (175-2) with 22 points and forward Valentina Veselinova (170-3) scored 1 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Septemvri 97's coach Borislava Mandur gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. NSA (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted NSA maintains fifth position with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Septemvri 97 at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. NSA are looking forward to face Asenovets (#8) at home in the next round. Septemvri 97's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sofia Champion 2006.
