Rather expected game when 12th ranked Weser Bsk/BTS (3-15) lost to tenth ranked WSG Koenigs (6-11) in Wildau 67-75 on Sunday. WSG Koenigs forced 20 Weser Bsk/BTS turnovers. It was a good game for forward Christoph Tetzner (201-81) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Paul Giese (183-97) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. WSG Koenigs' coach Lars Bothe allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Canadian forward Ismar Kriese (201-94) answered with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Lukas Koehler (196-96) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Weser Bsk/BTS. WSG Koenigs maintains tenth place in North with 6-11 record. Weser Bsk/BTS lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 15 games lost. WSG Koenigs will face higher ranked Rendsburg (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Weser Bsk/BTS will play against Stade (#6) and hope to win that game.
