Regular Season Round 16: Virum - SISU 77-68

An interesting game for Virum (13-4) which hosted in Virum 4th ranked SISU (8-9). Second ranked Virum managed to get a 9-point victory 77-68. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 21-18 SISU's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 77-68 at the end of the game. They outrebounded SISU 45-28 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Caitlin Ingle (172-95, college: Drake, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Valerie Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) who added 19 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Virum players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Kama Griffitts (183-91, college: Arizona) responded with 28 points and 5 rebounds and guard Hannah Schaible (175-94, college: G.Washington) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Virum have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 13-4 record behind leader Horsholm. SISU lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with nine games lost. Virum will play against league's leader Horsholm on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play against Vaerlose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
