Regular Season Round 23: Turk Telekom - Orman Genclik 92-71

TBL top team - Turk Telekom (22-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Orman Genclik (10-13) in Ankara 92-71. Turk Telekom players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Nusret Yildirim (202-89) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) produced 30 points and 8 rebounds and forward Hasan Karabulut (195-84) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Turk Telekom have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-1 record. Newly promoted Orman Genclik keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Turk Telekom's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Ankara to the arena Ankara D.S.I..
