Leader Timberwolves delivered the eighteenth win on Saturday night. This time they beat 10th ranked BBU S. (4-16) 87-69 in Salzburg. The game without a history. Timberwolves led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by BBU S.'s players. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Jonas John (186-99) chipped in 16 points. Four Timberwolves players scored in double figures. Timberwolves' coach Hubert Schmidt used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spanish forward Guillermo Sanchez (200-91) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and Hungarian forward Dusan Oluic (196-93) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Timberwolves maintains first position with 18-2 record. BBU S. at the other side keeps the tenth place with 16 games lost. Timberwolves are looking forward to face Lions (#5) in Dornbirn in the next round.
