Rather expected game in Lichterfelde where 5th ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (8-9) was defeated by third ranked TuSLi Berlin (11-5) 63-46 on Saturday. TuSLi Berlin held Rotenburg/Scheessel to an opponent 22.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when TuSLi Berlin made 9 blocks. It was a great evening for Lena Gohlisch (173-93) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. TuSLi Berlin will face league's leader Osnabrueck SC on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rotenburg/Scheessel will play against B.Loewen (#11) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the DBBL just one year after relegation.
