The game in Vaerlose supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked SISU (9-9) played at the court of 5th ranked Vaerlose (2-15). SISU smashed Vaerlose 99-44. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Vaerlose to just 7 points in second and third quarters. SISU dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Vaerlose's 22 and made 28-of-33 charity shots (84.8 percent) during the game, while Vaerlose only scored ten points from the stripe. SISU forced 26 Vaerlose turnovers and outrebounded them 43-16 including a 30-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Vaerlose's players. Forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) nailed 22 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and American guard Hannah Schaible (175-94, college: G.Washington) accounted for 20 points and 11 rebounds. Four SISU players scored in double figures. SISU's coach Todd Anthony felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Celine Schiffer (-97) came up with 7 points and 4 assists and forward Ellen Svendsen (176-99) added 11 points respectively for Vaerlose in the defeat. SISU maintains fourth place with 9-9 record. Vaerlose lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with 15 games lost. SISU will play against league's leader Horsholm on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vaerlose will play against Lemvig (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
