The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Bodrum (19-3) in Izmir on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Urla BLD (12-8) 57-50. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bodrum. They outrebounded Bodrum 39-26 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American center Cierra Robertson-Warren (193-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Yeliz Dogan (183-94, college: Rider) helped adding 13 points and 12 rebounds. Four Urla BLD players scored in double figures. Forward Harika Eldas (182-90, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) responded with 14 points and American center Sasha Goodlett (195-90, college: Georgia Tech) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Urla BLD maintains seventh place with 12-8 record. Bodrum at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Urla BLD are looking forward to face Istanbulgucu (#13) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bodrum will play against Mersin Gelisim (#17) and is hoping to win this game.
