The game without a history. Vilkmerge led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Vilkmerge forced 25 Siauliai-Univ. turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Martyna Petrenaite (181-98) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Agneta Kisieliene (181-89, college: NC-Greensboro) supported her with 5 points and 10 rebounds. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by point guard Dominyka Paliulyte (172-1) did not help to save the game for Siauliai-Univ.. Center Enrika Matiukaite (191-0) added 7 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Siauliai-Univ.'s coach Dainius Bertulis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vilkmerge maintains sixth position with 5-17 record. Loser Siauliai-Univ. still closes the standings. Vilkmerge will meet league's leader Suduva in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Siauliai-Univ. will play against Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
