Second Stage Round 3: Triglav - Domzale 95-31

The game between Triglav (14-3) and Domzale (0-17) in Kranj on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Triglav outscored guests from Domzale 95-31. The game without a history. Triglav led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Domzale to just 4 points in fourth quarter and to 11 points in second half. Triglav dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Domzale's 12 and made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game, while Domzale only scored four points from the stripe. It was a quality performance for the former international point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-93) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 5 assists and 13 steals. Maja Jakobcic (184-97) accounted for 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Triglav players scored in double figures. Forward Vanja Tajher (178-95) came up with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Maja Grintal (177-96) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Domzale in the defeat. Triglav will meet Jezica (#6) in the next round. Domzale will play against Maribor and hopes to get finally their first victory.
