No shocking result in a game when second ranked Gotha II (18-3) won against at home 6th ranked Muenchen OSB (11-10) 85-69 on Saturday. Gotha II made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for forward Jan-Niklas Wimberg (206-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. Estonian point guard Kristian Kullamae (190-99, agency: Dynamics Global Management) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Gotha II players scored in double figures. American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) responded with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Jermaine Lippert (203-90, college: Detroit Mercy) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Gotha II. They keep a position of South-East leader, which they share with Oberhaching. Muenchen OSB at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. Gotha II will face Rosenheim (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Muenchen OSB will play against Herzogenaurach (#10) and hope to win that game.
