The game in Zemun was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Borac (17-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Mladost ZE (10-11). Borac defeated Mladost ZE 103-89. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mladost ZE. The game was mostly controlled by Borac. Mladost ZE was better in third quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Borac players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. International guard Ilija Djokovic (191-96) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 assists for the winning side and Marko Stojadinovic (204-89) accounted for 24 points and 6 rebounds. Bozidar Babovic (198-95) came up with 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Vojin Svilar (187-86, college: W.Georgia, agency: BeoExcell) added 19 points respectively for Mladost ZE in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Borac have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Dynamic BG lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Mladost ZE at the other side keeps the eighth place with 11 games lost. Borac will play against Vrsac (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mladost ZE will play against OKK Beograd (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
