Regular Season Round 20: Krofdorf/Gleib. - Bamberg 72-66

Date: March 4, 2018
Everything went according to plan in Giessen where sixth ranked Krofdorf/Gleib. (9-10) won against 9th ranked Don Bosco Bamberg (6-12) 72-66. The winners were led by American forward Alise Karlsone (183-91, college: Charleston So.) who scored that evening 20 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Erin Bratcher (176-92, college: Charleston So.) supported her with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds by American power forward Tori Waldner (196-93, college: Penn St.) did not help to save the game for Don Bosco Bamberg. Forward Magdalena Landwehr (183-1) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Don Bosco Bamberg's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Krofdorf/Gleib. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position in South with 9-10 record. Don Bosco Bamberg at the other side keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. Krofdorf/Gleib. will have a break next round. Don Bosco Bamberg will play at home against Wasserburg II (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
