Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Sofia: BUBA (#1) and Athletic Sofia (#3). BUBA (7-0) won against visiting Athletic Sofia (4-3) 85-73. BUBA forced 19 Athletic Sofia turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for guard Aleksandar Milov (198-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Ivan Alipiev (200-99) helped adding 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four BUBA players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Todor Zahariev (190-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Ivaylo Vuchkov (197-90) scored 22 points and 6 assists. Newly promoted BUBA maintains first place in A with 7-0 record. Athletic Sofia at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the third position with three games lost. BUBA will play against league's second-placed UE Varna on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Athletic Sofia will play against Chavdar in Troyan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
