Rather expected game when 5th ranked BC Pharmaserv Marburg (12-8) was defeated on the road by second ranked TSV 1880 Wasserburg (16-4) 65-60. TSV 1880 Wasserburg forced 22 BC Pharmaserv Marburg turnovers. The winners were led by Lithuanian point guard Santa Okockyte (175-92) who scored that evening 17 points and 5 rebounds and Czech swingman Petra Zaplatova (175-91) supported her with 18 points and 4 steals. Even a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds by Bulgarian power forward Diana Voynova (192-88, college: Duquesne) did not help to save the game for BC Pharmaserv Marburg. American guard Katlyn Yohn (181-91, college: Bradley) added 14 points for the guests. TSV 1880 Wasserburg have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion used an opportunity after Keltern lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. BC Pharmaserv Marburg at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost.
