A very close game took place in Skofja Loka between Zlatorog and LTH Castings. Zlatorog (3-0) got a very close victory on the road over LTH Castings (0-2). Zlatorog managed to escape with a 1-point win 74-73 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Zlatorog outrebounded LTH Castings 36-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin forward Marko Popovic (200-85) who scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. Urban Durnik (201-97) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Guard David Kralj (191-99) produced 28 points and guard Jan Strmcnik (187-98) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. Zlatorog will meet at home Celje (#14) in the next round. LTH Castings will have a break next round.
