Regular Season Round 19: SISU - Stevnsgade 62-70

An interesting game for Stevnsgade (13-7) which played road game in Copenhagen against 4th placed SISU (10-10). Third ranked Stevnsgade managed to get a 8-point victory 70-62. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of SISU. Stevnsgade forced 20 SISU turnovers. Strangely SISU outrebounded Stevnsgade 49-36 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Emilie Hesseldal (186-90, college: Colorado St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Five Stevnsgade players scored in double figures. Stevnsgade's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Hannah Schaible (175-94, college: G.Washington) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import forward Kama Griffitts (183-91, college: Arizona) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for SISU. Stevnsgade maintains third place with 13-7 record having four points less than leader Horsholm. SISU at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost.
