Regular Season Round 20: Wolfpack/BMS - Naestved 95-79

The most important game in the last round took place in Skovlunde between third ranked Naestved (12-8) and seventh ranked BMS Skovlunde (4-16) on Saturday night. Naestved was defeated by BMS Skovlunde on the road 95-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Naestved. The game was mostly controlled by BMS Skovlunde. Naestved managed to win fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BMS Skovlunde shot 61.0 percent from the field. BMS Skovlunde outrebounded Naestved 35-19 including a 29-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for BMS Skovlunde especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Mike Martin (183-93, college: Cent.Arkansas) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Troy Franklin (183-89, college: Coppin St.) produced 21 points and forward Kazembe Abif (200-92, college: Drexel) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Naestved players scored in double figures. Newly promoted BMS Skovlunde maintains seventh position with 4-16 record. Naestved at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. BMS Skovlunde are looking forward to face league's leader Horsens IC at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Naestved will play against the league's second-placed Bakken and will have a slim chance for a victory.
