Very predictable result when third ranked Vilsbiburg (17-4) beat at home 12th ranked Jena II (6-16) 100-87 on Saturday. Vilsbiburg forced 25 Jena II turnovers. The best player for the winners was American swingman Kendall Timmons (195-90, college: Tulane) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Andreas Goderbauer (195-90) chipped in 22 points. Five Vilsbiburg players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Justin Smith (201-87, college: Hawaii-Hilo) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and Marco Rahn (201-98) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
