There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Terceira (9-13) lost to tenth ranked Lusitania (8-14) in Angra Heroismo 63-67 on Saturday. The winners were led by American swingman Dominique Coleman (198-88, college: Francis Marion) who scored that evening 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Miguel Freitas (177-90) supported him with 14 points. Even 31 points and 8 rebounds by American guard Marqueze Coleman (193-93, college: Nevada) did not help to save the game for Terceira. Power forward Joao Torrie (200-91) added 8 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Lusitania maintains tenth position with 8-14 record. Newly promoted Terceira keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Galitos-Barreiro.
