Rather expected game in Cherkasy where 8th ranked Ch.Mavpy 2 (2-24) was defeated by sixth ranked SumDU (12-14) 84-74 on Friday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-74. SumDU forced 21 Ch.Mavpy 2 turnovers. Strangely Ch.Mavpy 2 outrebounded SumDU 43-28 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international forward Igor Kryvych (198-78) scored 30 points and 7 steals to lead the charge for the winners and forward Sergei Glinchak (188-89) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists during the contest.
