Regular Season Round 25: BSW Sixers - Weser Bsk/BTS 102-42

Regionalliga top team - Sixers (20-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Weser Bsk/BTS (3-18) in Sandersdorf 102-42. Sixers dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Weser Bsk/BTS's 22. They outrebounded Weser Bsk/BTS 48-20 including a 37-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sixers players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Weser Bsk/BTS's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American forward Terrence Williams (198-93, college: Charlotte) fired 25 points and 6 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Ferenc Gille (206-98) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Sixers' coach Tomas Grepl felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Jonas Liermann (197-87) produced 20 points and Arber Zeqiri (192) added 9 points respectively for lost side. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Sixers. They maintain first place in North with 20-1 record. Weser Bsk/BTS lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Sixers' next round opponent will be Rendsburg (#5) on the road. Weser Bsk/BTS will play against Goetting.ASC (#8) and hope to win that game.
