Not a big story in a game when Alba Iulia (1-2) was outplayed at home by ICIM Arad (3-0) 69-45 on Saturday. The game without a history. ICIM Arad led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Brankica Hadzovic (175-81) who scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Porsche Poole (172-89, college: Michigan St.) chipped in 13 points. Poole is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Jessica January (170-95, college: De Paul) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and her fellow American import center Tyshara Fleming (193-94, college: Florida) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
