Regular Season Round 25: Oberhaching - TSV Troester 87-76

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Oberhaching as it allowed them to take a leadership position in South-East. Oberhaching defeated 5th ranked TSV Troester in Deisenhofen 87-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TSV Troester. Oberhaching forced 19 TSV Troester turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Peter Zeis (196-89) who helped to win the game recording 21 points. Point guard Janosch Koegler (190-93) contributed with 22 points and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Alexander Engel (191-93) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Timo Dippold (182-97) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for TSV Troester. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Oberhaching (20-3) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Gotha II. TSV Troester at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. TSV Troester will play next round against strong Vilsbiburg trying to get back on the winning streak. Oberhaching will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
