Very expected game when 14th ranked GGZ Baskets (1-22) were smashed by third ranked Vilsbiburg (18-4) in Zwickau 110-82 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for Czech center Lubos Novy (204-91) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Vilsbiburg. They maintain third place in South-East with 18-4 record having six points less than leader Muenster. GGZ Baskets lost their twenty second game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 22 games lost. Vilsbiburg will face TSV Troester (#5) in Breitenguessbach in the next round.
