The most important game in the last round took place in Sofia between third ranked Academik Plovdiv (12-6) and fourth ranked Levski Lukoil (13-8) on Saturday night. Academik Plovdiv was defeated by Levski Lukoil on the road 97-109. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Academik Plovdiv. They outrebounded Academik Plovdiv 42-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Levski Lukoil are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Spartak Pleven (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Academik Plovdiv will play against the league's second-placed Rilski (#2) in Samokov and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
